Summer in Germany – Part 5: Marburg

Around 77,000 people live in the Hessian city of Marburg, around a third of the population are students. This gives the city a lively atmosphere despite its rich history. The city is known as the place where the Brothers Grimm lived and studied, and it is also known for its many museums and historical sites, especially for its well preserved Old Town. In summer, the University City on the river Lahn offers the perfect mix of nature and cultural activities.
